Francisco Bartolome Sanz Celma (known as Gaspar Sanz) was a Spanish guitarist and composer of the Baroque era. He is particularly known for his instruction book for the Spanish guitar written in three volumes and published in Zaragoza in 1697. The piece presented here is a version of Pavanas por la D from the second volume arranged by Yvon Rivoal.
